Job Description:

• 1) Instructs farmers and retail grain and feed-store customers in modern and scientific feed and farm management techniques: Discusses feeding problems for fowl, swine, cattle, and other livestock with farmers.

• 2) Examines poultry or livestock and recommends medication and remedial measures to prevent spread of disease and to maintain healthy poultry or livestock.

• 3) Advises and assists farmers in securing services of VETERINARIAN for treating larger animals.

• 4) Assists farmers in setting up cost and production records to determine most economical method of farm operation.

• 5) May give lectures and demonstrations to farm groups.

• 6) May take feed orders.
