Job Description:

• 1) Removes virus-bearing fluid from fertile chicken eggs for use in manufacturing vaccines, such as influenza vaccine: Saws end off egg, using electric saw, and removes fetal membrane, using tweezers to break sac containing viral fluid.

• 2) Siphons fluid into sterilized and labeled bottles for further processing.

• 3) Sterilizes tweezers by dipping them into antiseptic solution after each egg has been harvested.
