Job Description:

• 1) Tends drier in which bobbins or skeins of synthetic yarn are dried prior to finishing: Hangs bobbins or skeins on poles supported by wheeled frames or by continuous chain conveyor.

• 2) Moves controls to attain specified temperature in dryer and to start chain conveyor if drier is so equipped.

• 3) May be designated according to article dried as Bobbin Drier; Skein Drier.

• 4) May perform duties of WASHER in plants where washing, bleaching, and drying are combined into single operation.
