Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in melting and drawing of glass into sheet form: Reads recorder instruments to verify specified melting-tank temperatures.

• 2) Observes glass drawing process to ensure glass is drawn to specifications.

• 3) Determines cause of malfunctioning equipment or defects in glass, and advises DRAWING-KILN OPERATOR of action necessary for correction.

• 4) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
