Job Description:

• 1) Auditions and interviews performers for specific parts, considering such factors as physical size and appearance, quality of voice, expressiveness, and experience: Submits list of suitable performers to PRODUCER or DIRECTOR, MOTION PICTURE; DIRECTOR, RADIO; DIRECTOR, TELEVISION for final selection.

• 2) Keeps talent file, including information, such as personality types, specialties, past performances, and availability of performers.

• 3) May arrange for screen tests of new performers.

• 4) May obtain contractual agreement from performers on such items as salary or fees, program credits, residual payments, performance dates, and production schedules.
