Job Description:

• 1) Digs into bowl and shank of smoking pipe blank with pointed tool to remove rough spots and smooth surface: Examines bowl and shank for imperfections.

• 2) Digs out rotten briar, or stones and smooths rough spots with a pointed tool, exercising care not to dig too deep into wood.

• 3) Fills holes with putty to give smooth surface to bowl and shank.
