Job Description:

• 1) Tends tanks, absorption tower, and related equipment that produces cuprous chloride for use as process catalyst, as directed by CUPROUS-CHLORIDE OPERATOR: Turns valves to transfer materials through auxiliary units, such as coolers, condensers, and absorbers, and to storage tanks.

• 2) Assists CUPROUS-CHLORIDE OPERATOR in charging reaction tank with powdered copper.

• 3) Records gauge readings and shift production for operating log.

• 4) Patrols work area to detect and report malfunctions.
