Job Description:

• 1) Adjusts gaps of cone crushers used to reduce taconite ore to specified size: Lowers lead cone into operating crusher that compresses cone to size of crusher gap.

• 2) Measures compressed cone with rule to determine amount of adjustment of crusher opening.

• 3) Signals OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR to turn threaded crusher bowl to set gap at specified opening.

• 4) Drives wedges and bolts locking links to secure bowl, using sledges, pliers, and pry bars.
