Job Description:

• 1) Inspects sewed parts of cushion and upholstery covers for stitching defects and conformity to specifications: Marks defects with chalk and rips out faulty seams.

• 2) Measures skirts with yardstick.

• 3) Records number of defects found.

• 4) May carry defective covers to sewing department and identify defects to be repaired.

• 5) May be designated according to type of cover inspected as Cushion-Cover Inspector; Sofa-Cover Inspector.
