• 1) Reads copy to PROOFREADER I to correct proofsheets of printed matter: Reads original copy aloud, calling out punctuation marks and spelling unusual words and proper names.

• 2) Follows original copy word for word as PROOFREADER reads proofsheet aloud.

• 3) Calls attention to discrepancies between copy and proof.
