Job Description:

• 1) Fills bunkers of railroad refrigerator cars with ice and rock salt to preserve foodstuffs, such as citrus fruits, bananas, and meat, during shipment.

• 2) Breaks up blocks of ice, using bar and pick.

• 3) May blow crushed ice over perishable products, using ice crushing machine equipped with blower device.
