Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that smooths inside surface of bucket: Places bucket in chuck of machine.

• 2) Forces bottom of bucket into chuck, using iron bar.

• 3) Steps on pedal to start chuck and bucket rotating.

• 4) Feeds cutting tool into inner surface of bucket, manually smoothing bucket.

• 5) Cuts croze near bottom of bucket with special attachment to machine.

• 6) Rubs top edge of bucket with sandpaper to smooth bucket and removes bucket from lathe.
