Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that brushes fur pelts to straighten and fluff hairs preparatory to shearing fur for manufacturing felt hats: Starts machine and depresses pedal to move powered brush away from stationary rest on which pelts are placed for brushing.

• 2) Positions pelt on rest and releases pedal to force moving brush against pelt, straightening and fluffing hairs.

• 3) Piles furs for shearing by other workers.
