Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that removes excess starch or stiffness from dyed or printed cloth: Slides cloth roll onto machine brackets.

• 2) Threads cloth over and under alternate rollers that have surface of wavy ridges or rollers that are covered with metal buttons.

• 3) Starts machine and observes operation to detect binding of cloth or machine malfunction.

• 4) Pushes lever to reverse machine, running cloth through several times until texture meets specifications.
