Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that scours and dyes cloth wound on perforated beam: Loads beam of cloth onto machine carriage, using electric hoist.

• 2) Pushes carriage into dyeing chamber and bolts door.

• 3) Places sample spool of material in miniature pressure chamber to obtain swatches for inspection.

• 4) May tend open-top vat and be designated Beam Dyer, Recessed Vat.
