Job Description:

• 1) Tends oven drier at back end of pulp-making machine that removes moisture from pulp sheets: Observes gauges and charts, and turns valves to regulate flow of steam and control oven temperature.

• 2) Aligns sheets on conveyor to prevent jams.

• 3) Regulates speed of conveyor to ensure that dried sheets conform to moisture content specifications.
