Job Description:

• 1) Operates weft straightener that straightens and aligns skewed weft of broad woven fabrics after wet finishing: Observes cloth passing under beam of light to detect skewed weft.

• 2) Presses buttons to control movement of rollers that hold back leading selvage of skewed cloth and to allow lagging selvage to catch up.

• 3) May tend finishing machines, such as cloth drier, calender, or tenter frame.
