Job Description:
- 1) Molds glass and plastic watch crystals: Places glass or plastic blank on mold of specified shape and size.
- 2) Heats glass with hand torch or softens plastic in oven until it conforms to contour of mold.
- 3) Holds crystal against revolving wheel to polish surface.
- 4) May cut glass or plastic blanks.
- 5) May grind edges of crystal.
