Job Description:
- 1) Inspects sheets or strips of veneer for color, texture of grain, and knots, wormholes, cracks, or unsanded spots.
- 2) Marks grade on individual sheets on conveyor or on top sheet of stack, according to prescribed standard.
- 3) Discards unacceptable panels.
- 4) Records number of sheets inspected by grade on tally sheet.
- 5) When examining and grading plywood, is known as Plywood-Stock Grader.
