Job Description:
- 1) Tends machines that die-size and cut paper tubes to specified diameter and lengths preparatory to processing into BB shot containers: Installs and adjusts sizing arbors, dies, cutting rolls, and spacing of pickup fingers, using screwdrivers and wrenches.
- 2) Starts and observes machines for malfunction.
- 3) Clears jams and removes scrap paper, using fingers or knife.
- 4) Measures inside and outside diameters of tubes, using fixed gauges.
