Job Description:
- 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of TELEGRAPHIC-TYPEWRITER OPERATORS: Assigns duties and monitors sending and receiving of messages.
- 2) Directs workers keeping files, such as messages, correspondence, instructions, and reports.
- 3) Inspects equipment and orders repairs of machinery.
- 4) May operate telegraphic typewriter.
- 5) May transfer operators or regulate work load between stations to ensure even distribution of traffic.
- 6) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
