Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sawing, shaping, and assembling woodstock to form furniture frames and mock-ups: Reviews production schedules and confers with department head to determine production priorities, availability of equipment and personnel, and processing changes.

• 2) Examines furniture parts during machining and assembly, and directs workers to change machine setup or work techniques to eliminate defects.

• 3) Reassigns workers or performs duties of absentee workers.
