Job Description:
- 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in altering ready-to-wear garments: Assigns duties to workers according to type of garment and alteration to be performed.
- 2) Examines work of subordinates periodically to detect faulty work.
- 3) Performs duties of absent workers and assists workers to maintain production when necessary.
- 4) Trains new employees.
- 5) Requisitions supplies.
- 6) Confers with workers, customers, and other supervisors regarding garment alterations.
- 7) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
