Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine and injection equipment that line dry-cell battery cans with liquid paste that serves as separator between anode and cathode and as reservoir for portion of electrolyte: Turns valve to open paste line and admit paste to reservoir of injection device.

• 2) Starts machine and feeds unlined cans into openings in dial-type holder that positions cans to receive injection of measured amount of paste and spins cans to distribute paste evenly.

• 3) Pushes unlined cans into opening to eject lined cans, dropping them onto conveyor belt leading to dryer.
