Job Description:

• 1) Tends lasting machine that staples shank section of shoe upper onto insoles and shapes it on shoe last: Places last on pin jack and pulls edge of upper over last, using lasting tool.

• 2) Removes last, positions it under machine head, and starts machine that staples edges of upper to insole.

• 3) May adjust cutterhead to regulate staple length, according to thickness of upper.
