Job Description:

• 1) Grades pearl shells used in making pearl buttons: Examines shells and grades them according to size, thickness, curvature, color, and imperfections.

• 2) Sorts shells into grading bins.

• 3) Places graded shells in containers of water to soften them for cutting operations.
