- 1) Tends machine that notches boards for use as insulation backing on shakes: Inserts insulation board in jig and butts end of board against stop.
- 2) Presses pedal to lower punch that notches edge of board to provide for circulation of air when board is installed.
- 3) Removes board from jig and places board on conveyor.
