- 1) Tends machine that cuts rug felt to specified width: Pulls felt from roll on table, examines felt for imperfections, such as light spots and burrs, and removes imperfections using tweezers.
- 2) Clamps end of felt to winding roll and starts machine that rewinds inspected felt.
- 3) May set circular cutting knives and cut felt to specified width.
