Job Description:

• 1) Writes score for orchestra, band, choral group, or individual instrumentalist or vocalist: Transposes music from one voice or instrument to another to accommodate particular musician or musical group.

• 2) Scores composition consistent with instrumental and vocal capabilities, such as range and key, using knowledge of music theory.

• 3) May transcribe composition to adapt it to particular style.
