Job Description:
- 1) Visits establishments licensed by local governments to ascertain that valid licenses and permits are displayed and that licensing standards are being upheld.
- 2) Prepares report on violators and recommends action.
- 3) Warns violators of minor or unintentional infractions.
- 4) May arrest violators.
- 5) May be designated according to class of establishment visited as Rooming-House Inspector; Tavern Inspector.
