Job Description:
- 1) Tends machine that smooths inside surface of bucket: Places bucket in chuck of machine.
- 2) Forces bottom of bucket into chuck, using iron bar.
- 3) Steps on pedal to start chuck and bucket rotating.
- 4) Feeds cutting tool into inner surface of bucket, manually smoothing bucket.
- 5) Cuts croze near bottom of bucket with special attachment to machine.
- 6) Rubs top edge of bucket with sandpaper to smooth bucket and removes bucket from lathe.
